how come in animated movies when they give humanoid folk bug wings, they always have like, fixed points on their back where the wings just stick straight out of, and in order to move the wings they just bend it like a floppy wrist or a tentacle??? (aside from barbie fairy movies which just dont attach the wings at all)
would a ball and socket situation not look better and function easier?? like people already have ball and socket joints!! i dont think making butterfly wings all weird and floppy and bendy is really necessary
